With the Faery at school, Miss Pie is now the main target
of my lens - whether we're out and about,
or just hanging at home.
I probably whinge too much about the toddler stage, but I
also know that it's a lovely stage too. I remember when the Faery
was my little sidekick in everything - my little shadow,
my little friend. She still is, of course, but school steals
a lot of that time away from me.
School hours, I now have a new little sidekick
and she is seriously cute. Seriously active.
Seriously loveable.

And on the weekends?
There's lost time to make up for with my original little buddy.

Ah, bless her. It is quite a different dynamic isn't it, when you can interact with them one on one.
ReplyDeleteI actually enjoy that time with the boys when I do get it. Often if the two of them are together, I end up totally sapped and drained while they compete for my attention.
I have great hopes that R and I will move into this new stage too, once the toilet training circus has moved on.
By the way you don't "whinge" too much - it's called venting and I think it saves our sanity sometimes as you well know. =)
Why is it that when the two of them are together, it's not always enjoyable? I turn into such a harried nag. One on one, I'm good enough at, though! Sometimes.
DeleteAs for toilet training, I've not even begun that circus with P... I have a feeling it's going to suck. A lot.
Oh, swoon.
ReplyDeleteThis may be one of my super-fave posts.
And I'm all ready to burst into jealous flames when I remember I've got my own little nail painter on the way...
You don't know how happy I am that you're finally getting your own little miss. Not a moment too soon!
DeleteYou will swoon over your own preciousness, I'm pretty sure.
